Also Known As Baby Pancake

Poffertjes. That's what I made this evening for dinner. It's Dutch, so if you try to translate the word 'poffertjes' you'll get the same word in all the other language. For you I gave them the name: baby pancake.

Here's the recipe. The ingredients:
100gram flour
a pinch salt
30gram sugar
1/2 bag of baking powder
1 egg
150milli litre milk (not to cold milk!)
You also need some oil (or butter). Powder sugar and butter to finish.

1. Mix all the ingredients together. You need a smooth batter. Then put it away for a while, in a warm, nice, ride free place.

2. There is a special pan to make these in. But I think you don't have it at your place, and even not in the stores. I think you can try this as well in a skillet, but they won't be as thick and bol as mine are. Anyway grease the pan in, with some oil or butter.

3. Put the batter in the pan. Whatever you use, don't put in to much, or if you use a skillet, try to make little rounds.

4. Wait until you see 'dry' spots in the batter. Use a fork to flip them upside down. It's both easy and hard. When you know how it works it easy, but you need to practise a few times to make it that easy.

5. They have to be golden brown. Wait a few more minutes and look if they're already brown at the bottom before you put them on a plate.

6. Add some powder sugar and butter.

Bon appetit!
