Everyone has these kinds of days.. then I mean the best-days-of-life. I tried to make a list of these days, but didn't knew a lot days which belongs to this special list. Last weekend absolutely belongs to this fast growing list of days. Now you're all curious what happened last weekend and I'll tell you. I went on holidays (for four days) with the dearest Iris. We went to a little house in the grasslands, far away from the real world. Well, that's how it feels to me, that we went away from the world and stepped right into the careless and lazy world. It were four lovely days. The first we went to town and went shopping. For sure we needed an icecream.
That night we watch the life changing 'Passion of the Christ'. It was both hard and good to see this movie. But it was Good Friday and the fundament of our friendship is our faith, so that were the paramount reasons to watch this together. I can't describe which feeling belongs to this night, but I felt beloved and it was so special! The next day we slept out quiet long and decide to have breakfast in bed and watch another movie (in bed too). In the afternoon we lay in the sun and became fat with the chocolate fontain. Which was really jummie! Haha. That night we had a time of recreation in the sauna, with all inclusive. What a good night it was again! And it didn't stop, cause that night we slept outside. Let me show you some pictures of that happening:
Most high you see what we saw when we opened our eyes the day after. That was our third day in the grasslands. The sunday. First we woke up, have breakfast in bed again, but this time that was outside, under the arising sun. Get dressed and went to the church. It was a meeting full of happines because Jesus is alive! Again it felt so good to share something in our faith together. After the church we went to the forest. That was probably the biggest forest I've ever been. It was lovely to walk in the shadow of the enormous trees and it was so fun to have a walk like diva's (in our dresses and on our not-forest-proof shoes). We were looking for some open place in the forest to have a seat and eat some of the things we brought with us. It was difficult to find one, but we searched very good and found a whole valley! It felt like we're slipped into the 'Sound of Music'!
When we had eat something and made some lovely pictures (which I won't add all, cause it would take to much time and place), we went back to our bicycles, with a few stops. Our first was the centre of Holland, and there we make this fun picture. *I tried to climb upon the rock, but we use the delayed action shutter, so I was to late*
Then there came a problem on our road.. not a real one, but I love drama, haha, I'm sorry. We didn't knew the way back. So we asked some people and they told us the right direction. We keep on walking and walking and were in front of our destination (I think it was 100 metre further on) and choose the wrong path. We came really in the middle of no where and kept on walking. We ask some other people (first we even couldn't find people to ask) and found the good way back. But I think you al ready know what will come now.. we came on the same place as I told a few lines before. In front of our destination, just 100 metres to go. How could've we been so lost, when we were so close?! Haha! Well, we had a lovely walk in the forest and the calories were burned away. Back home again we had diner: selfmade pancakes with chocolate and ice!!!
After that we walked into the grasslands, made some photos and had a lot of fun. The rest of the night was fabulous too. Imagine: incense, candles, wine and chocolate eggs. We wrote our friendship-alphabet and had much more joyfullness. At least we tried to watch a movie, but I think we're tired and the movie was so boring that we decided to stop that and went in our beds. The last day was sad... I won't leave that lovely place and won't come back in this world of reality. But it happened, I'm back again and realise that I have a lot to do coming weeks. Perhaps I can dream back to this lovely weekend a few times, oh, what a wonderful life!
