Shiny days!

Last week was a life experience! I stood four nights on stage as Anna Karen. Living on Iceland and be friended with Eva Cassidy. Every year we produce a play with school, not that easy kind of play which is in the auditorium on school. But a real play, professional and in a real theatre. First I haven't a role, but one of my friends decided to stop and that was my change! I got the role. It were just six lines, in scene 13 of 14.. but it was amazing! The make-up, which was to much and to red, was so fun! The clothes were typical from Iceland and hot. The other players were nice and lovely!

The play was about Eva Cassidy and how her sickness rules her life. It was about love, music, friends and family. Everything we play was real happened and that helps me to feel really how it is to be Anna Karen. When Eva died, only 33 years old, I came on stage and told the audience how Eva need to be surrounded with warmth and love. She didn't care about her talent and her glory, she just needs rest and want to make songs which share her feelings with others. She was a special person, with a lovely voice and I would have loved to know her personally, like Anna did. Beside that, I feel glad that I met Eva on stage and that was perhaps a good reflection of who she was in real life.

Now it is al ready a week ago, but I still miss the nights on stage, perhaps more the nights behind the scenes, I even miss the biggest applause I ever get and the other players.. I think it was a good condition, that I won't leave this school before I had been part of this happening.
