The Ugly Shoe

I have them: ugly shoes. When I write this down it seems so weird! 'Cause their is nobody who buys theirselfs ugly shoes, actually I won't do anything like that. I just got this shoes! The reason why I accept them is not because of their look, but I love their character. I get used to their look more and more. So their will probably come a day when I realise how beautiful they are.

Anyway winter came finally, the experts expect a hard and cold winter in Novembre, but it didn't come. And now this week we got temperatures below zero - with a maximum of -23 ˚C - and a little snow too. It's still extremely cold outside, but I just love this weather. This cold winter days gives a lot of shiny sun and that's not too bad! I love to go out for a walk in these days and therefor I need them: my ugly shoes. They're so friendly, they keep me warm and they embrace my feet with the soft inside. And don't forget the pleasant sound they make and the footprint they left in the snow. They seem almost perfect... Yes, their character is, they are my best friends in these days, but they remain my ugly shoes.
